NEW TEAM MEMBER
In addition to expanding the French dealer network, KCME has also welcomed a new member to its marketing and field sales team. Roland Danion, who has 20 years’ experience in the construction industry, joins the team as Retail Sales and Marketing Manager and is responsible for the whole of France.
Forty-six-year-old Roland joins KCME from Hydro CTA, and prior to this he had been the Sales Director of a large CE Equipment dealer in North-Western France. In his role as Retail Sales and Marketing Manager for KCME, Roland will be the direct contact for national accounts, support the Kobelco dealer salesforce and manage all local events. He will work closely with Business Manager, Jean-Philippe Delion as well as Product Support Manager, Vincent Gribonvald, and Team Leader Spare Parts Representative, Mignon Terpstra.
1. What do you like most about Kobelco (as a company or a brand or the machine)?
I like the spirit of the company turn to quality and take care of the customer, as a dealer for 5 years and now from my start in the company for a few weeks now.
2. What will you find most challenging in your new job?
Remain at the highest level of product knowledge and establish a good contact with the dealer network.
3. What is on your wish list to do when working now for Kobelco?
Transmit to our network all the customer benefits that kobelco products can offer by creating pedagogical supports.
Support new dealers in their new challenge and help them to reach the expected market shares.

5. What are you proud of that you accomplished in your earlier jobs?
To have shared my professional knowledge with my colleagues and to have accompanied them in the development of their skills.
